New HOME and Disney World Christmas!

We have once again MOVED! But this time we just moved in town. So it was a lot easier! We absolutely LOVE our new HOME! It is all brand new and we have 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms! Which is really nice now that there are 3 people who use the potty in our house!:)This year we decided it would be the Little family we would spend Christmas with! So we planned our trip this summer deciding it would be a great time to take Noah to Disney world!! And i have to say he LOVED it!! I dont know if he enjoyed himself as much as i did but he couldnt get enough(i had way to much fun and felt like a kid again myself)!! Noah had breakfast with Mickey and all his friends and ENJOYED all the rides he went on which surprised me!! He is still asking about when he is going back!!lol! I told him that mommmy is 26 and that was my first time so it probably wouldnt be for a while...haha! My MIL came with us so Matt and i could go out by ourselves and go on all the roller coasters and fun stuff like that! It was absolutely the most amazing time and i couldnt have asked for a better Christmas! We all had such a great time!! We also went and stayed with Matts mom in southern Florida for over a week and went to the beach about everyday since it was in the 80s the whole time we were there!!!:) We headed down even more south down to MIAMI and i even went to DASH which i was super excited about!! All in all i have to say it was an AWESOME Christmas and im so happy we chose to do it before we get stationed in Colorado next year! Here are some pics of all the festivities!

Where to start?? Let see Its been since the 4th of July....

Well the first week of Aug. My family flew to Florida and We met up with them!! It would have to be one of my favorite VACAs ever!! We went to Daytona Beach 2 days and we all had a blast body surfing!! We went to SEAWORLD and Noah loved that!! So did Matt and i because we were able to go on the rides they had there!! Noahs favorite thing was the aquariums they had there!! Yes he is gonna be a genius!!!=) He didnt really care too much about the shows probably because he got soaked by Shamu due to the fact that he insisted on being in the front row!!hahaha!! And then one day we all went shopping all in all an AWESOME trip!! Wanna do it again asap!!

big news!! I have a 3 year old!!! Noah turned 3 Aug. 11th and he had a DINOSAUR party! I made his most awesome cake!! It was the first year I decided to take that on and I do believe it turned out pretty good!!=)

More big news... Matt and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Sept. 1st!! We went out and saw a movie together which actually is a very rare occasion we can find a sitter we trust to watch Noah. We had so much fun eating popcorn and candy at the actual movie theater!!!! AMAZING i know!!lol!

And some small news....I turned 26 on Sept. 10.

And the BIGGEST news of them all??? Noah is going on the potty!!! Yep thats right he is a big boy now!! He literally does it all be himself and it have been extremely easy so far! I am so happy that it hasnt been as dreadful as every mother has described!!! I am so Happy!!! So proud of my big boy!!!=) Here are some pics of the last couple months!!

This year we had a 4th of July BBQ at our house!! We had a good turn out and it was lots of fun!! The kids had a blast in the pool and slip n slide!! It was a good fourth i must say!!!:)

Just a quick update....Matt got a new car!! He got rid of his jeep because the gas prices are outrageous!!! He loves it and so do I!! We have been hitting up the pool ALOT!! This heat and humidity is no fun unless im in the pool!! And yay for new friends!!!!:) I hate leaving a post but when we move to a new one its fun to meet new people and make new friends!!

Easter Weekend

Easter was awesome!! Matt had four days off! And Matts Mom came up for the weekend! We colored eggs,had an egg hunt at our house with all of Noahs friends and grilled out! Noah and I went to KY to see our old neighbors, Anna and Meena! We had so much fun! Annas husband is deployed right now to Afghanistan. While I was there she heard some bad news about her husband. Chris' (her husband and our friend) vehicle got hit by and IED (individual explosive device) But he is doing better and is in the hospital. I was so glad i could be there with her when this all happened. It is so hard being a military wife and no one understands what you go through and what our husbands go through except for people in the military! It is a hard job but it is sacrifices that has to be made for our country to be free. I hope everyone doesnt take their freedoms for granted! I am so thankful that when Matt was deployed nothing like that happened to him. But even having it happen to a good friend really puts things in perspective. On a lighter note... Here are some pics of somethings we did when we were there!

I am almost sure Noah thinks of Arizona like most kids think of disneyland! He had way too much fun when we were there! He built fires, went swimming, played ball, got to eat and do anything he wanted, saw dinosaurs, went to Sedona, and the list goes on!! He tells me he wants to go back to Arizona everyday!!lol I do wish he was closer to my family ...maybe some day if it all works out! Here are a few pics from our trip!:) He really enjoyed nursery!:)

~Well where to start...My grandparents had their 50th wedding anniversary and went on a cruise and saw a bunch of places then were staying at Edisto Island which was 5-6 hours from us and wanted us to come stay with them for a few days!! Well i dont like passing up going to see new places sooo we went!! We had soo much fun! Noah got to know my grandparents better and Noah LOVE my gramps..he calls him Grampsies like i do!!lol We went and saw Myrtle beach and Charleston. And to my surprise.. Charleston was my favorite!! It had soo much history in that town and BEAutiful homes! I was in heaven and told Matt i wanted to live there(all the homes are over $1 million)! He just gave me that look like...well u should have married someone rich look!!lol Hey i can dream! Myrtle beach was so nice too, i really want to go back in the summer cause everything is pretty much closed during the winter like shops and restaurants. But the beach was awesome to see and Noah loved collecting the shells that were there!! We had soo much fun! The place we stayed at was so nice an HUGE!! We had our own room, bathroom, kitchen and even a washer and dryer! And Noah loved the jacuzzi tub!! lol It was so good to spend time with the gparents and eat seafood everyday!:)~

Christmas and New years!

This year was the first Christmas that we stayed home and it was just the three of us! It was perfect! Noah had soo much fun opening all his presents! His big gift was his power wheels Jeep..which he had been asking for since before Thanksgiving!haha And he loved it and rode it all day! I got my reebok easytones and Matt got a bunch of clothes. And the BIG thing that happened on Christmas was it SNOWED!! It was the first time on record that it had snowed on Christmas here!! It was so nice and felt very 'christmasee'!! For New years eve Matt and i stayed up and watched the ball drop on tv and then our neighbors had us over New years day for a BBQ! Looking very forward to 2011!! I have high hopes that this will be a GREAT year!!=)

Well since my last post...Halloween and Thanksgiving has come and gone!! WOW and Christmas is right around the corner!! Well Noah is getting sooo big and has a HUGE personality!! He talks soo good now. Well Lets see in October he fractured his arm and ended up getting a cast!! That was tough...everywhere i went i got the look from other parents. I seriously felt soo bad as it was and then i get the dirty looks from everyone! He fractured it on one of those bounce house slides, at a military function...and Matt won a 40 in lcd tv there also!! So that day was good and bad. Well he got the cast off 2 weeks later... and then Halloween came and he looked absolutely adorable in his dinosaur costume! He liked the costume he just didnt like wearing it!lol He is a very stubborn and determined little boy!! But we convinced him to wear it... Then Thanksgiving came and Matt and I made everything!! We were very proud because it was our first time cooking a turkey...and it turned out fabulously delish!! It was just the 3 of us and it was perfect! And this will also be the first Christmas when we arent coming home and it will be just our little family!! And Noah tells us everyday...."Santa, presents, ah good boy, JEEP!!" He wants a power wheels jeep and Santa is gonna bring it if hes a good boy!!lolhaha He is soo smart! Anyway here are some pics of the last month or so...

Okay, so ALOT has happened since my last post... Lets see...our 4 year anniversary, my 25th birthday, We moved to Georgia, went to Florida for a much needed Vaca, and my mom and sister came and helped me put my house together!! Oh and while they were here we also went to Panama City Beach, FL! It was so fun! We are getting adjusted to GA and so far we love it! I miss my friends but this is how it is in the military life so we deal with it. The first week back to work, Matt got promoted to Sgt.! So he is my "little" Sgt....I mean he's now Sgt. Little!!haha I am so proud of him! I have tonz of pics but ill try and limit them..here they are!! Promotion Ceremony! So proud of him!

Noahs 2nd Bday!!

Let me just say that i CANNOT believe Noah is 2!! I keep telling people," We were busy this weekend because Noah just turned 1 and we had his first bday party!" And everyone is like you mean 2?!! I refused to believe anyone that told me that kids grow up fast but this past year just flew by!! I am officially getting old...remember when your parents use to say time flies and a year is not long!! And you were like, your crazy im 6 and a year seems like an eternity!! Well i am on the other side now!! I am the crazy parent and a year is sooo quick!! Anyways...on another note we will be moving again! Remember when we moved last year, well we are moving again this year. Probably sometime in October, and we are moving to Georgia!! I am excited because it is always exciting to see what this new place has in store for us. I am going to miss all the friends i made here though.=( It is going to be very busy around here and i will be very stressed out im sure and not someone that anyone will want to be around but, i will try not too be although it will be very hard!! I went to Az a couple weeks ago... but wasnt there very long although i did sooo much! My brother Luke had never met Noah so that was the main reason we went! Luke and Noah ended up being good buds(Noah was scared of him at first)! We went to Sedona to see my grandparents and also to Jerome! I got to see some friends and hang out with them too! It was a great trip and had soo much fun here are a few pics!

So this weekend it was actually warm...Cant you believe it?!! I couldnt! I was like " Im going to walmart and getting a slip n slide even if its the only day we use it!!haha Well Noah absolutely loved it! He kept wanting me to push him down it. I even slid down it a few times and im still sore! We had a blast! It was our neighbors last day before their VACA so it was good to hang out with them before they left. Enjoy the pics!

Noah got a trampoline this weekend. He just loves it and I love it too! It gets him worn out and its just the perfect size for him. He can get up and down all by himself, and I am so happy he can play outside now that the weather is warmer!!

This past week has been cloudy,rainy, and cold! Matt and I decided a while back that Noah cant be kept inside! So we got him a rain coat and boots at the disney store. We cant have all his clothes getting muddy and ruined.

You will see him "making a fire" in these pictures. He is always wanting to have a fire in the back, in our fire pitt. But I am horrible at building a fire! It last about 30 sec. Matt(who can build a fire well!) has been working a lot, so Noah pretends and put sticks and leaves in the pit. And then puts the lid on top and waves his hand(like there is smoke!haha) and says FIRE! He is so adorable and I think it is so cute. Here are some pics!

Soo I have been wanting to build a snowman for quite a while. BUT... it was always the new powder snow and if you dont know that doesnt make snowmen very well! So our first snow came and went and I thought that well I guess next year. Then.. we got like 6 plus inches and then finally yesterday I suggested to let Noah go out and play in the backyard and then we can all build a snowman! So here it is we didnt have everything for it but we got a hat, sunglasses and well a mustache!lol Noah helped too!

Okay so its not Valentines day but...... I already got my present! Matt got me a new camera cause he hated my other one. It wasnt a bad camera it just took too loooong to take a picture. By the time it took one, Noah was already done smiling and i would get the back of his head or something or it would be blury! Okay... We have been wanting to try this wing place for a while. We finally did yesterday and let me tell you they are the best wings I have ever had! So many people told us how awesome they were and usually they arent as good as you imagine but they were!!!! I want them again like now!! Its a little hole in the wall that is right down the street from us and they are soooo yummy! If you live in KY try Jacks Wings!!! (maybe I will get some free for advertising!haha)

So the past couple weeks Matt has been in WLC (warrior leaders course). His blazer broke down and Noah and I were stranded! It was not fun, so I got his vehicle towed and found out it wasnt good news. So..... he got a new Jeep! It is really nice and he his sooo happy! He has been wanting a jeep for a very long time. And today he graduated his course!! I am soo proud of him he did such a good job! He got an awesome grade and hopefully that will get him promoted soon!!:)Here are some pics!

OK so I have obviously never lived where the high for the day is 16 degrees! I mean really does those places really exist? I didn't think so, but in case you don't know they for sure do exist! So it has been very cold!!! I don't know if you have been listening to the news but there have been lots of storms and snow in the mid west. Well it started to snow yesterday and it is still snowing right now! I took Noah out yesterday and he absolutely loved it! He didn't care it was cold and threw a major fit when it was time to come in!haha Then when Matt came home we went out with our neighbors and made a sled with lids and cardboard! We should really invest in a real one! There is a small slope out back so thats where Noah and daddy went down! They had so much fun and then once again when it was time to go in....yep a fit was thrown!lol Here are some pics!

So this year we all went to Arizona for christmas and stayed at my parents house. We had so much fun here are some pics of our vaca!

Matt and I got Noah a Tonka dump truck. It was technically for Christmas but we gave it to him early cause we wont be here for the holiday. I thought he would love pushing it around and putting things in it.....but he didnt. He crawled in it and then we had a bright idea to tie a rope on it and pull him around and he absolutely loved it then!!haha

Halloween Zoo Party!

So this weekend we went with our neighbors to the Louisville Zoo. They have a big halloween party for the kids. And let me just say it was huge and definately worth the the $6.50. I mean they had everything there like, a carousel and a bunch of disney characters Noah absolutely loved it. Even Matt and I had a ton of fun! Noah ate too much candy and couldnt sleep that night but it was still worth it. It was the first time we had taken Noah to the zoo and he loved it. There werent many animals out because it was evening time but every animal he did see he was about to hyperventilate!! He absolutely loves animals and we need to take him back during the day! Ok so my child has to be one of the messiest kids out there!! I mean every meal I am sweeping and wiping and vacuuming! I mean is it normal?! Everyone tells me yes all kids are messy!! But then when im around there child and their very clean! I think to myself that they have NO idea what messy is!!! I probably go through 3-5 outfits in a day!So I always have a ton of laundry and I hate laundry! Well I pretty much hate most things that include cleaning but thats beside the point. I think thats probably why I have such a messy kid! I really want to know if anyone knows what I am talking about! If its not meal time and there is food everywhere then its jumping and diving into mud or taking everything out of the drawers! Can someone please say they know how I feel because they have a kid like this. And dont lie! Well here is a couple of pics of the messy boy! Gotta love him!

So I am officially coming to Az for the Christmas holiday! Noah and me are coming Dec. 11 and then Matt will be coming later because he has work. I am so excited to see my family and friends! So yesterday was my 24th bday. I went to White Castle for dinner, i know fast food but thats what I wanted cause id never had it. And it was really good! My sisters boyfriend, i guess you can say, and my sister tried to trick me and texted me the whole day pretending to be a guy i use to date. And let me remind you that i dont have the same number so i was wondering how he got the number and he claimed he got it from my parents. So, I called and my mom and she was like NO i did not give anyone your number. Well to make a long story short they were texting i miss you, i keep thinking about you ect...ect.. and guess what im doing?? Well nothing i didnt text back really after the first text that said happy 30th birthday! After i found out who it "was" i quit texting but finally they came out and said hey this is Kyle, me and Lacey were just trying to play a trick on you!lol I should have known, but i had a really good bday all in all!!

Today marks Matt and I 3rd anniversary!! And its the first one he is actually in the same state or country as me so yeah!!! Our first he was in Cali training to go to Iraq, the second he was in Iraq, and our third he is in the field. I did get to see him this morning at like 3am but at least I got to see him right?! I cant believe its already been three years it has gone by so fast. That could be because he has been gone for like half of it. haha We have been through so much together, have a beautiful baby, and couldn't be happier! I love you baby happy anniversary!!

Yesterday was Noah's birthday party! He was so cute and loved having kids over to play with. Here are some pictures of the big event. We had some burgers daddy made and grilled and he had a cupcake cake and then opened presents. He loved all the attention he got. When everyone left he went to bed because he was worn out from such an eventful day!!!

My baby officially turned the big ONE yesterday! I cant believe it has been an entire year since I had him. We are having a party for him this saturday and ill post pictures and tell all about that. I just wanted to post a picture of his invites cause I think they are so cute, and some pictures of him from the past year. I cant believe how much they change in such a short time. I had to post pictures of all different ages on here to see how different he looked this year! From when he was a newborn til now I dont even think he looks like the same person, do you? I look back on all the pictures and dont really remember him any different than he is right now. I am really amazed! I love you baby!! Happy Bday BIG BOY!

I have been trying to get my house together the past couple of weeks. If you have never moved across the world before let me inform you now, IT IS THE WORST! Churchill Downs aka Kentucky Derby

This weekend we all went to Churchill Downs aka Kentucky Derby. And if you are an American Idol fan you know they had it here this past year. In case you didnt know its called churchill down not kentucky derby! The Kentucky derby is held here but the location is not called Kentucky derby! I made that mistake and thought it was called Kentucky Derby and not Churchill Downs and entered that in our gps and ended up in the middle of nowhere! So if you ever visit here remember CHURCHILL DOWNS! haha Check out the pictures inside here, its pretty nice.

Amish Living

My mom and sister came to visit and got in late Tuesday night. We have had so much fun getting my home in order and seeing Kentucky! On Friday we went to see a whole different kind of living...the Amish!! It is amazing to see people riding in buggies, hanging clothes out to dry, and the women not wearing any makeup and men with there long beards. Oh and there clothes are so interesting to me because you cant buy them anywhere, the women make all of them! I do not think I could do it! Well as you can see I dont have any pictures of them because they do not like you to take any pictures of them, and if you do it cant be of there face!! Being a women myself and knowing how hard labor is with a hospital I couldnt dream of having a baby in my home. I dont know how they do it. But I wish I could cook like them check out the pies. I also wonder where do they go to the bathroom and how do they stay warm in the winter? Or cool in the summer with no electricity?? I do have to say I bought some donuts from them, made from scatch, and they were the best!! They are pretty amazing.

So....here is my baby. I know he doesn't look like a baby thats because he grew up on me all of a sudden. The past year has gone by so fast i cant believe it. And now I have a child that can walk. They really do grow up fast! It still feels like yesterday that I was in labor telling my husband in the labor and delivery room that I thought I was going to DIE! haha Well I didn't die and I have such an awesome, handsome, smart, and sweet baby boy. They really are blessings. I really am so excited for all that is to come with him in the next few years. He just took off one day and started walking and I am sure he will do that with everything. Once he decides to do something he will just do it and do it well!

I just wanted to say how much i love the two boys in my life. I dont know where i would be without them. I have been away from Matt for 5 weeks because he is getting things ready for us in Kentucky! I miss him so much and cant wait to see him. Noah has started walking in just those few short weeks !! I know daddy will be so proud! We leave Monday, Kentucky here we come!!
